Job Summary
Specialty Representative, Rheumatology, field-based sales role covering Memphis, Oxford, and Jackson, MS. Execute brand strategy and tactics to drive sales performance, meet financial targets, and achieve KPI objectives. Build and maintain strong customer relationships with healthcare providers, develop and execute call plans using SMART objectives, handle objections effectively, and continuously optimize coverage and frequency to maximize access and patient opportunities. Must demonstrate domain knowledge in rheumatology, communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other stakeholders, and satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a health, science, pharmacy, or business-related field (or equivalent industry experience) and a valid driver’s license. This role resides in a field-based environment with territory management responsibilities and a focus on delivering patient-centered outcomes within AbbVie’s code of conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
- Valid driver’s license and HCIR credentialing requirements
- Minimum five years of relevant experience with pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred and three+ years in sales if no degree
- Ability to travel within territory and build relationships with healthcare providers
