Job Summary
Field-based Specialty Representative role focused on Rheumatology in the Memphis-Oxford-Jackson corridor. Responsibilities include executing brand strategy, achieving sales KPIs, building strong customer relationships with healthcare providers (physicians, pharmacists, nurses), delivering compelling pre-call plans, handling objections, and maximizing patient access through knowledgeable, compliant engagement. Requires developing and executing call plans to optimize coverage, staying abreast of disease state and product knowledge, and supporting district, regional, and brand teams. Bachelor’s degree in health/sciences/pharmacy or business-related field preferred (or equivalent industry experience); strong communication, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills; valid driver’s license and HCIR credentialing readiness. Travel within the territory to meet objectives and comply with AbbVie’s code of conduct and applicable laws.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- HCIR credentialing requirements may include background checks, immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting and licenses as required by state/city
