Job Summary
Specialty Representative, Psychiatry in Florence, AL, responsible for executing AbbVie’s brand strategy and field activities, managing the assigned territory and targeted accounts, building strong customer relationships, addressing customer needs, handling objections, and achieving sales KPIs. Key duties include creating pre-call plans, evaluating post-call outcomes to improve performance, developing call plans to maximize access and calls to key customers, and ensuring HCIR credentialing requirements are satisfied. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience, with a strong emphasis on sales leadership, market understanding, and compliance. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
- HCIR credentialing requirements including background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting and specific licenses required by individual state or cities
- Ability to meet credentialing requirements to gain access to facilities in assigned territory
- Proven track record of leadership and communication skills in a matrix environment
- Strong presentation and business acumen skills
- Willingness to adapt selling approaches to customer style
- Ability to operate within regulatory and code-of-conduct frameworks
- English language proficiency preferred for non-English speaking countries
