Job Summary
Execute sales performance and brand KPIs across Greater Charleston, Myrtle Beach, Florence, North Charleston, and Summerville. Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives, handle objections, and optimize coverage frequency to maximize access and sales opportunities. Continuously build understanding of customer needs, market landscape, and competitors to share intelligence with the in-field team and brand strategy. Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition with health providers, develop disease state experts, and maintain trusted customer relationships while operating within AbbVie's business code of conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
- Relevant and equivalent industry experience required in lieu of a bachelor's degree is at least five (5) years of experience with three (3) or more years of experience within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred and a high school diploma/GED required
- Proactively identifies customer style / behavior and adapts quickly all aspects of selling approach
- Operates effectively in a matrix environment
- Proven track record of success in selling and solid presentation skills
- Offers innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities to address challenges

- Must meet health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements to gain entry into facilities and organizations that are in your assigned territory
- HCIR credentialing requirements may include background checks
- HCIR credentialing requirements may include drug screens
- HCIR credentialing requirements may include proof of immunization/vaccination for various diseases
- HCIR credentialing requirements may include fingerprinting
- HCIR credentialing requirements may include specific licenses required by individual state or cities
- Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain HCIR credentials
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test
- Must meet safe driving requirements
- Must be able to travel adequately to cover territory
- Must be able to attend overnight attendance at scheduled training events and sales meetings
- Must be able to drive a personal auto or company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment
- Must be able to satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements to gain and maintain entry into facilities and organizations that are in your assigned territory
- Must be able to obtain HCIR credentials
Desired Qualifications
