Job Summary
Field-based Specialty Representative for Gastroenterology covering Denver North and Wyoming territories. Responsible for executing brand strategy, achieving sales KPIs and targets, building physician/customer relationships, developing call plans, handling objections, and delivering market insights to optimize access and patient outcomes. Requires HCIR credentialing readiness, valid driver’s license, and endurance to operate within AbbVie’s governance and regulatory standards. Bachelor's degree in health/science/business preferred (equivalent experience accepted); strong presentation and strategic selling skills; English proficiency and ability to work within a matrix team. Driving a personal vehicle and maintaining field readiness are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
- Relevant and equivalent industry experience required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree is at least five (5) years with three (3) or more years in pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred
- Proven track record of success in selling and solid presentation skills
- Proactively identifies customer style/behavior and adapts selling approaches
- Ability to obtain HCIR credentials and pass background checks and immunization/vaccination proof as required by facilities
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- English language proficiency for communication in sales contexts
- Strong business acumen and ability to operate in matrix environments
- Hybrid/remote credentialing or credentialing processes may apply for specific facilities
