Job Summary
Field-based Specialty Representative for Gastroenterology covering the Dayton and Toledo, Ohio area. Execute brand strategy, achieve sales performance and KPIs, manage a defined territory, and build trusted relationships with health providers. Develop pre-call plans, handle objections, close calls, and share market intelligence to optimize access and sales opportunities. Maintain knowledge of disease states, products, and competitive landscape; coordinate with in-field and brand teams to align on strategy. Requires credentialing and compliance with health-care industry requirements; valid driver's license and ability to travel within the territory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
- Relevant and equivalent industry experience required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree is at least five (5) years of experience with three (3) or more years of experience within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred and a high school diploma/GED required
- Proven ability to sell and present effectively; strong communication and relationship-building skills
- HCIR credentialing requirements (background checks, immunizations, fingerprinting, licenses as applicable) and ability to obtain credentials
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to satisfy credentialing requirements for facilities and organizations in the assigned territory
- English language proficiency in verbal and written form (if applicable)
