Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, physical examinations, and obtain documented medical histories. Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and coordinate ongoing care while ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing. Educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatment options, maintain accurate medical documentation, and collaborate with physicians to support quality outcomes. Respond appropriately to urgent clinical situations within scope of practice. Requires Arizona licensure, certification, and three years of specialty practice experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active Arizona Physician Assistant license or eligibility for licensure
- National Physician Assistant certification
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a specialty practice setting
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
- Experience in neurology, surgery, or other specialty care environments
- Experience managing complex patient populations
