Job Summary

Interpret and enter prescriptions accurately while performing pharmaceutical calculations and managing inventory. Label and fill prescriptions for pharmacist verification, clarify orders with clinicians, and assemble medication supplies including sharps containers and syringes. Prepare medications for delivery, answer and triage inbound patient inquiries, and conduct outbound adherence check-in calls. Resolve insurance issues, coordinate renewals, and provide patient education via phone. Maintain pharmacy data, manage claim adjudication, and recommend operational improvements through continuous process initiatives. Work Monday through Friday with rotational weekend coverage, earning $22.00-$24.00 hourly. Required Qualifications

  • Active Pharmacy Technician registration in the state of employment
  • Current National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
  • 1+ year of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Strong phone and patient communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to quickly learn new pharmacy systems and database applications
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for communication, documentation, and data management, as well as, navigating the internet and web-based platforms
  • Data entry and computer skills
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
