Job Summary
Deliver high-touch patient support by managing each patient's journey from onboarding through refills and coordinating timely medication deliveries. Proactively address insurance, prior authorization, financial assistance, and copay challenges while monitoring and promoting medication adherence to support positive patient outcomes. Collaborate closely with clinical pharmacists, providers, and clinic staff to quickly resolve issues and serve as a trusted patient advocate for individuals navigating complex specialty therapies. Maintain active Pharmacy Technician registration and leverage strong interpersonal skills to ensure a seamless experience in this outpatient clinic setting.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician registration in the state of employment
- 2–5 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for communication, documentation, and data management
- Ability to navigate the internet and web-based platforms
- Data entry skills
- Monday–Friday schedule (No weekends!)
Desired Qualifications
- CPhT Certification (highly valued)
- 5–8 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to extract key information efficiently
