Job Summary
Oversee Noble Health Services Clinical Management Programs and accreditation efforts while ensuring consistent application of organizational policies. Perform quality assurance steps to verify accurate prescription dispensing, conduct drug utilization reviews, and report adverse events and dispensing incidents in accordance with guidelines. Manage pharmacy inventory, monitor claims for proper reimbursement, and suggest alternative therapies when warranted. Participate in the Quality Management Committee, provide periodic practitioner consultations, and assist in training department personnel. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with all state and federal regulations, including New York State rules. Meet on-call and scheduling requirements while completing mandatory regulatory training.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
- Current unrestricted Pharmacist license in pharmacy location state
- Obtain and maintain other states licenses as required
- Responsible for meeting the on-call requirement of position
- Responsible for meeting the scheduling requirements of the position
- Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
Desired Qualifications
- 2-3 Years of practice in a specialty pharmacy setting
- 2-3 Years of experience in a managed care setting
- 3-5 Years of practice in a traditional retail setting performing MTM's
