Specialty Outpatient Cardiac EP- Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant- Piedmont Heart North Corridor

Job Summary
Perform high-quality patient assessment and management in outpatient cardiac electrophysiology clinics, autonomously delivering EP studies, ablations, and CIED implantations under indirect physician supervision. Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while managing direct patient care, including alternating visits with assigned electrophysiologists and overseeing patients in clinical trials. Travel to clinic sites in Jasper, Canton, Ellijay, and Blairsville, and participate in training programs and trials. Work 40 hours per week with MA support, demonstrating teamwork and effective communication across the healthcare team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
- Board Certified Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Holds current license from the Georgia State Composite Board
- BLS / ACLS certified
- Minimum 2 years of general cardiology or 1 year of prior EP experience
- Willing to travel to clinic sites predominantly at Jasper, Canton and Ellijay locations with occasional clinics in Blairsville
- Willing to travel to PAH for training
- Willing to participate in trials & undergo appropriate training
- Works 40hrs per week (choose either between four-10hrs days OR five 8hr days with administrative time built into schedule (will be provided MA support))
