Job Summary
Assess patient progress and revise interdisciplinary care plans for developmental medicine and psychiatry patients in ambulatory and outpatient settings. Provide direct and indirect care while identifying resource needs, initiating teaching or referrals, and responding to patient phone calls. Explain treatment regimens to families after physician discussion and collaborate with the Nursing Education Department to share subspecialty knowledge. Act as a liaison between families and the healthcare team, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and maintain proficiency across neonates through adults. Requires BSN, active Delaware licensure, and three years of pediatric experience.
Required Qualifications
- BSN
- Active Delaware (or compact state) Registered Nurse Licensure
- Three years of related clinical experience
- Prior pediatric nursing experience
- Specialty Nurse hours Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
