Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed provider or Registered Professional Nurse. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients and coordinate care with other departments. Obtain and maintain a current LPN license within the hiring state and complete required certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or PEARS within the specified timeframe. Perform duties involving prolonged standing, walking, and lifting or turning patients up to 50 pounds. Work as part of a collaborative team supporting the future of healthcare through innovation and compassion.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to stand and walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to bend and stoop
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 pounds
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
Desired Qualifications
- Comparable education experience
- Successful licensure
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support)
- Six Assessment & Care Modules
- Other unit-specific certifications
