Specialty LPN - Full-time - Mercy St Louis Clinic Towers A & B

Detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with experience in Women’s Health, specializing in minimally invasive gynecology and urogynecology. Responsible for delivering professional nursing care within the LPN scope, including patient preparation via Mercy’s Advanced Standard rooming process, vitals review, medication reconciliation, and care-gap closure. Assist physicians during minimally invasive gynecology, urogynecology, and integrative gynecology visits; perform specialty procedures such as urodynamics testing, catheter placement, trial of void, and post-void residual assessments; conduct in-office procedures including bladder scans and point-of-care testing; administer injections; provide patient education (including intermittent self-catheterization training); maintain infection control and universal precautions; schedule surgical cases in Epic Marketplace; communicate pre- and post-op care; coordinate care plans with providers and interdisciplinary team; ensure accurate Epic documentation (ICD-10, CPT coding); manage medical supplies and equipment sterilization; support front desk operations (check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling); respond to urgent clinical situations; comply with professional standards and ongoing education requirements.
