Job Summary
Detail-oriented LPN in Women’s Health providing professional nursing care under supervision, performing rooming and vitals, assisting physicians during minimally invasive gynecology and urogynecology visits, performing specialty procedures (urodynamics, catheter placement, trial of void, post-void residuals), bladder scans and point-of-care testing, injections, patient education including self-catheterization, infection control, Epic documentation (ICD-10/CPT), coordinating surgical cases per physician protocol, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and supporting front desk operations in a fast-paced outpatient Mercy clinic.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Licensure: LPN license in the hiring state and must meet state board requirements
- Experience: can be new or experienced LPN
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) or completion within 30 days of hire
- Possible unit-specific certifications such as ACLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, Six Assessment & Care Modules, or other required certifications
