Job Summary
Detail-oriented LPN providing outpatient women's health care, including minimally invasive gynecology and urogynecology, with responsibilities ranging from patient preparation and vitals to assisting physicians in procedures, performing specialized tests (e.g., urodynamics, bladder scans), administering injections, educating patients (including intermittent self-catheterization), coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring accurate Epic documentation (ICD-10, CPT), and supporting front desk tasks and scheduling while adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Licensure: Holds current LPN license in hiring state and meets State Board requirements
- Experience: Can be new or experienced LPN
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) or successful completion within 30 days of hire; ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., or other unit-specific certifications may be required depending on unit
- Physical Requirements: Stand/walk most of the time, lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing
