Specialty LPN within Mercy’s outpatient Women’s Health program, focusing on minimally invasive gynecology and urogynecology. Deliver professional nursing care within LPN scope per Mercy policies; prepare patients for visits using the Mercy Advanced Standard rooming process; assist physicians during minimally invasive gynecology, urogynecology, and integrative gynecology procedures; perform specialty procedures such as urodynamics testing, catheter placement, trial of void, post-void residual assessments; conduct in-office procedures including bladder scans and point-of-care testing; administer injections; provide patient education including intermittent self-catheterization training; maintain infection control and universal precautions; schedule surgical cases through Epic Marketplace; communicate pre- and post-op care per provider guidance; coordinate care plans with providers and interdisciplinary team; ensure accurate Epic documentation (ICD-10 and CPT coding); manage supplies, storage, and sterilization; support front desk operations (check-in/check-out, scheduling); respond to urgent clinical situations; comply with professional standards and ongoing education requirements.
