Job Summary
Lead execution of financial and operational due diligence services, including on-site or remote examinations, portfolio reviews, and acquisition due diligence engagements. Prepare Excel-based workpapers supporting scoped procedures and engagement conclusions while evaluating complex portfolios, collateral structures, and credit facilities. Independently manage workstreams involving file testing, portfolio analytics, reconciliations, and financial analyses to identify, analyze, and escalate portfolio risks, operational gaps, and data integrity issues. Interact directly with clients and subject company management to discuss findings and obtain information. Draft written due diligence reports summarizing trends and risk considerations. Requires one or more years of experience in Asset-Based Lending or Specialty Finance. Flexibility for travel up to 50% is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- One or more years of experience in Asset-Based Lending, Specialty Finance, Credit Analysis, or related due diligence roles with exposure to Asset-Based Finance
Desired Qualifications
- Prior exposure to consumer finance, commercial specialty finance, healthcare lending, or venture debt structures
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, including independent development and review of complex workpapers, including some exposure to VBA, PowerPivot, PowerBI, and PowerQuery
