Job Summary
Join The Smilist as a Specialty Dental Assistant supporting Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, and Periodontics across three PA locations (Elkins Park, Brinton Lake, Academy). You will assist doctors, prepare trays and operatory setups, maintain a sterile environment, escort patients to the front desk, manage supplies, and contribute to a collaborative team focused on high-quality dental care. Must have an active PA x-ray license and at least 1 year of dental assistant experience; Dentrix experience is a plus. Full-time schedule with no weekends; pay $25.00-$27.00 per hour plus a travel stipend, and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, plus opportunities for professional growth and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant - at least 1 year
- Active PA x-ray license
- Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures
- Dentrix experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude
