Job Summary
Specialty Cook at SSP America prepares, garnishes, and presents ordered items by following recipes and practicing portion control; maintains daily kitchen setup; requisitions and stocks food, paper products, and condiments; handles, stores, and rotates products; operates and maintains kitchen machinery; manages stock and perishables to ensure product quality; completes opening, ongoing, and closing checklists. The role requires at least one year of experience in a food service environment, a high school diploma (preferred), strong Verbal/written English communication, basic math skills, and the ability to stand for long periods. Additional qualifications include a food handlers permit and Brand Certification as required by law.
