Job Summary
Supervise team functions, coordinate preceptor activities, and manage clinical resources to ensure continuity of patient care across shifts and clinical areas. Conduct delegated projects, evaluate staff performance, and assist in developing unit-specific systems that drive organizational improvement. Provide direct clinical patient care within scope of licensure while fostering effective team relationships and resolving conflicts. Requires current RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferably in a clinic setting or in a charge nurse role
- Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS & PALS
- Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Ability to supervise and evaluate assigned staff
- Ability to foster and facilitate effective working relationships and team building
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflict
- Willingness to accept and manage change
- Ability to analyze situations and solve problems
- Skilled in the use of computer systems and related software applications
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
