Job Summary
Coordinate care for patients initiating and maintaining therapy on specialty pharmaceutical products by performing benefits investigations, facilitating prior authorizations, and communicating coverage details. Direct purchasing and filling of specialty products within company pharmacies and mail order while tracking patient refills and administering therapy questionnaires. Contact patients and organizations to ensure up-to-date immunizations and market immunization services. Requires two years of pharmacy technician experience, certified status, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Based at the Boise Corporate office with competitive weekly wages and access to Stream wage advance benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Two years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Experience in acquiring prior authorization from third party payers
- Problem solving abilities and attention to details
- Administration skills, such as planning and organizing, resource management and the ability to set priorities and coordinate work activities
- Customer relations skills including meeting customer needs and establishing a service environment
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience with Albertsons or Safeway Pharmacies
- Preferred experience with PDX, EPS and Enterprise
