Job Summary
Conduct routine on-person sales calls specific to urology, urogynecology, and gynecology with clearly communicated product demonstrations and in-servicing. Define and identify new business opportunities while managing distributor vendor relationships and achieving assigned sales goals. Perform territory analysis via CRM systems, prepare calls, and maintain strong communications with targeted accounts and clinicians through phone, email, and association meetings. Execute brand strategies to ensure consistent company sales and marketing messages. Success is measured on quarterly and yearly sales quotas, with a base salary, quarterly commissions, and a monthly car allowance. The role requires residing in the Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee territory, with up to 12 overnights per month or 60% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Residing in the territory assigned
- Minimum 4-year degree required or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of sales achievements
- Competence with Microsoft Office tools
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel – up to 12 overnights per month or 60% travel depending on the territory
- Must reside in the territory assigned
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
- Comparable experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in direct technical sales
- Ability to learn, comprehend and apply medical and scientific information to drive increased product utilization among targeted customers
- Basic computer skills (experience in with Microsoft Office)
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal acumen
- Knowledge of Group Purchasing Organizations
- Knowledge of Distributor Vendors
- Knowledge of clinical sales to physicians
- Demonstrated success in their previous sales career
