Job Summary
The Dermatology-focused sales force role drives demand following regulatory opportunities by educating healthcare providers, managing dermatology accounts (offices, clinics, hospitals, and independent practices), and delivering clinical-value messaging to advance product adoption within a defined territory. The SBM develops and applies business processes to meet sales goals, supports account onboarding and clinical education, conducts targeted outreach and education programs for HCPs, builds relationships with key decision makers, executes local marketing strategies, and communicates complex clinical and reimbursement information to stakeholders to optimize patient access and safe product use. The role requires strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, ability to travel to accounts, and strong communication skills to present clinical and business information to physicians, staff, and professional groups while adhering to company guidelines and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree – BA/BS
- 3+ years of successful selling experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device and/or relevant clinical or industry experience
- Demonstrated business and strategic planning skills to identify unique selling opportunities and adaptability to changing market conditions
- Demonstrated understanding of managed care landscape and how it influences/impacts business
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation and written communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills and success working in teams
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography
- Valid Driver's License
- Experience in calling on Dermatologists highly preferred
- Experience with managing and communicating complex reimbursement issues
