Job Summary
Specialty Business Manager (Dermatology) in Manchester, NH remote role focused on educating healthcare providers, driving demand after regulatory approval, and achieving sales goals within Dermatology practices, clinics, hospital accounts, and independent physician offices. Responsibilities include account onboarding education, clinical selling with value propositions, initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff, coordinating clinical education programs for HCPs, managing accounts to deliver product volume and key metrics, building relationships with HCP decision makers and staff, delivering targeted clinical and business messages using approved materials, executing local marketing strategies, and managing resources to support patient-safe product use. Requires developing medical education opportunities, staying current on disease states and treatments, and occasional travel (up to 25-50%). Minimum qualifications include a BA/BS and 3+ years of selling experience in life sciences, with dermatology experience preferred; strong communication, collaboration, and strategic planning skills; willingness to travel within the assigned geography.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree – BA/BS
- 3+ years of successful selling experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device and/or relevant clinical or industry experience
- 2+ years of successful selling experience at Takeda (preferred)
- Experience calling on Dermatologists/Dermatology (highly preferred)
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation and written communication skills
- Demonstrated business and strategic planning skills
- Knowledge of managed care landscape and how it influences business
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography
