Job Summary
Specialty Business Manager, Dermatology (SBM) is responsible for driving demand in Dermatology through education of healthcare providers and optimizing business opportunities in targeted physician offices, clinics, hospital accounts, and other dermatology-focused settings. The role develops and applies business processes to achieve sales goals, delivers clinical value propositions, supports onboarding and education for medical staff, coordinates clinical education opportunities for HCPs, manages accounts across dermatology practices and independent offices, and executes local marketing strategies while building relationships with decision makers to inform product use and reimbursement considerations. Requires a BS/BA and proven selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical devices or equivalent; preferred background includes Dermatology-focused selling, reimbursement experience, and strong collaboration and communication skills. Travel is required within the assigned geography; location for this posting is Ohio - Virtual (remote under Ohio).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
- 3+ years of successful selling experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device and/or relevant clinical or industry experience; OR 2+ years of successful selling experience at Takeda
- Experience calling on Dermatologists/Dermatology preferred
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation and written communication skills
- Ability to reside within or close proximity to assigned geography
- Travel up to 25-50% depending on geographic assignment
