Job Summary
Specialty Business Manager for Dermatology drives demand following regulatory considerations by educating healthcare providers and optimizing opportunities in dermatologist offices, clinics and hospital accounts. Develops and applies business processes to achieve sales goals; delivers clinical education, coordinates programs for HCPs, manages accounts and relationships, and presents complex clinical and business information to dermatology decision makers. Responsible for local marketing strategy execution, targeted messaging, understanding the managed care landscape and reimbursement issues, and ensuring compliant, patient-first engagement within the assigned territory. Requires a BA/BS and prior pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales or relevant clinical experience; strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills; willingness to travel within geography; and adherence to Takeda compliance policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree – BA/BS
- 3+ years of successful selling experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device and/or relevant clinical or industry experience.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists/Dermatology highly preferred
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation and written communication skills
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography
