Job Summary
Specialty Account Manager for TEPEZZA in endocrinology, responsible for representing TEPEZZA to physicians and healthcare professionals, establishing product sales, and performing total territory account management. Develops a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve/exceed sales goals, promotes TEPEZZA in approved labeling, addresses access and reimbursement with key stakeholders, builds strong customer relationships, coordinates with Amgen field teams, educates healthcare professionals on disease state and site-of-care options, attends medical congresses, manages promotional and operational budgets, and travels to cover the designated territory while meeting training and compliance requirements. Requires cross-functional collaboration, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; travel approximately 80% with some overnight commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher plus years of sales experience in pharma/biotech/medical device or hospital sales (various combinations as listed)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to travel ~80%
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with site of care and reimbursement
- Pharma account management selling experience
