Job Summary
Specialty Account Manager will execute commercial activities for an assigned geography to promote SYMBRAVO, an oral acute migraine medication, by building relationships with key customers, developing territory business plans, and acting as a disease-state and product champion. The role requires proficiency in both virtual and live customer engagements, ownership of territory performance, payer/process navigation (eligibility, prior-authorization, and denials), collaboration across cross-functional teams, and travel as needed to meet business goals. Responsibilities include promoting within labeling, maintaining customer relationships, providing feedback to leadership, managing promotional spend, attending medical congresses and society meetings, and ensuring patient access through support services and savings programs. Strong emphasis on strategic planning, execution, and cross-functional collaboration with a track record of results in pharma/biotech/medical sales. Overnight travel indicated by business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of field customer experience and/or account management
- Minimum of 3 years Healthcare Professional experience with relevant CNS experience
- 5 years of consistent top performance in the pharmaceutical, biotech or medical sales space
- Migraine/CNS experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience delivering outstanding results
- Launch experience strongly preferred
- Must live in the territory's geography
- Experience strategizing within cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Frequent driving and ability to lift/carry up to 30lbs
