Job Summary
Specialty Account Manager for Sunosi in the Minneapolis, MN area. Responsible for executing commercial activities within an assigned geography, developing a territory business plan, establishing and deepening relationships with clinics/hospitals, and driving demand for Sunosi (solriamfetol) in adults with excessive daytime sleepiness due to obstructive sleep apnea or narcolepsy. Role is field-based with access to customers in clinical settings and engagement via digital channels. Key duties include virtual and live customer engagements, payer policy navigation (eligibility, prior-authorization, denials), maximizing use of marketing resources to grow physician prescribing, providing territory insights to leadership, completing training, managing administrative duties, and coordinating within cross-functional teams. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of field/account management experience, 3+ years healthcare professional CNS/psychiatry experience, and relevant pharma/biotech/medical marketing/sales background with a preference for CNS/psychiatry and launch experience. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, plus willingness to travel and perform in a patient-support context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of field customer experience and/or account management
- Minimum of 3 years Healthcare Professional experience with relevant CNS/Psychiatry experience will also meet the qualifications for this role
- Previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales experience with at least five years in specialty sales preferred
- CNS/Psychiatry experience preferred, but not required
- Launch experience strongly preferred
- Experience strategizing within cross-functional teams, utilizing differential resources to achieve business goals
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment
- Strong digital marketing aptitude
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Frequent driving, including extended periods of time behind the wheel
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs regularly
- Overhead reaching required to close and secure liftgates or similar equipment
