Job Summary
Special Education Music Paraprofessional providing instructional and behavioral support in a K-8 setting; responsibilities include supervising students during recess, lunch, and sensory breaks; recording progress on data/goal logs; assisting with educational classroom needs and student behavior plans; collaborating with a school-based team; requires a high school diploma or equivalent and Ohio Educational Aide Certification, with 1 year (2 years preferred) experience with autism or other special needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Valid Ohio Educational Aide Certification
- Experience: 1 year with children with autism or other special needs (2 years preferred)
- Special education experience (preferred)
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to move around considerably
