Job Summary
Specialized Maintenance Technician role at Bosch Charleston (1st Shift) responsible for identifying trends and root causes of equipment problems, performing adjustments on manufacturing equipment, leading maintenance efforts to keep lines running, coordinating with operations and engineering, setting up spare parts and optimizing PMs, and maintaining process parameters. Uses measuring, testing, and software tools to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, presses, PLCs, cameras, scanners, etc., and leverages SAP, MES, OPCON, Promaster, and Tableau to maintain systems. Interacts with Operators, Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers and Leadership; offers a comprehensive benefits package and a starting hourly rate of $32.20 with potential to earn up to $40.82 as experience grows, along with a robust total rewards program.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum two years of experience in manufacturing
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, print-reading and mechanics
- Demonstrates mechanical proficiency, leadership ability, and teamwork
- Must be willing to work on alternate shifts and must demonstrate the ability to adapt to changes
- Must be able to communicate effectively with supervision and other personnel
