Specialized Machinist

Supervise employees assigned to a production cell and lead functions within the Manufacturing Operations Team to manufacture products according to contractual requirements, quality regulations, and cost control budgets. Schedule, assign, and monitor work within the cell to meet program objectives while managing assigned program budgets and compliance with quality systems. Establish metrics to track performance in quality, schedule, cost, and continuous improvement through lean enterprise practices. Monitor and analyze production processes to ensure work orders are followed properly, takt time is achieved, and required paperwork is completed accurately. Identify quality issues in the production process and assist in developing and implementing resolutions and preventative measures. Interview, hire, appraise, and develop department personnel in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
