Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive home studies, safety assessments, and background checks for specialized foster home applicants while preparing detailed licensing reports and renewal documentation. Provide ongoing monitoring through scheduled and unannounced visits to ensure compliance with state and federal standards, offering coaching on trauma-informed care and crisis response. Collaborate with treatment teams to develop individualized support plans and serve as a subject-matter expert on licensing best practices. Develop targeted recruitment strategies, facilitate orientation sessions, and represent programs in internal workgroups and community partnerships. Requires a Bachelor's degree, minimum two years of foster home licensing experience, CWEL certification, and valid driver's license. Full-time, exempt role with $58,000 annual pay at Caritas Family Solutions in Illinois.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human service
- Minimum 2 years' experience as foster home licensing specialist or child welfare experience
