Serve as the primary technical resource for underwriters, providing guidance on decisions and interpreting guidelines. Review and approve underwriting standards, collaborate on insurer guidelines, and partner with the Team Lead to evaluate authority levels. Deliver technical training, coach staff, and conduct quality audits to ensure adherence to policies and identify trends. Manage a portfolio of new business, renewals, and endorsements within delegated authority, reviewing files exceeding underwriter limits. Partner with the Product Line Manager on complex cases and identify underwriting opportunities. Maintain high quality standards while supporting team development within a hybrid work environment.
