Job Summary
Senior Control Systems Specialist responsible for designing, validating and certifying engine control systems for gas turbine engines, including developing system-level requirements, collaborating with aircraft manufacturers to define control functionality, working with a multidisciplinary team to align control-system features with engine and aircraft needs, understanding power-plant dynamics and the DO-178C process, coordinating software verification with suppliers, creating control-system test plans for simulations, engine test cells and flight tests, supporting validation activities, generating certification reports, and enabling smooth production and after-sales transitions; this is a full-time, on-site role based in Longueuil, with Monday–Friday hours and a French-speaking work environment requiring strong English proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace)
- 5 to 15 years of experience in control systems engineering
- Experience in gas turbine control systems
- Very good knowledge of English for documentation and communication with international stakeholders
