Job Summary
Lead the regional technology agenda for the Americas by acting as the bridge between operations and technology to drive adoption of digital solutions that deliver measurable business value. Shape strategic direction for AI, automation, and data initiatives while personally leading the analysis, design, development, and deployment of practical technology solutions using enterprise tools like Microsoft Copilot, Power Apps, and Azure AI. Provide strategic counsel to regional leadership on technology risks and opportunities, ensuring global standards are harmonized with local operational realities. Monitor post-implementation outcomes to measure value and identify continuous improvement opportunities. This permanent role reports to the Regional Delivery Superintendent within a global mining and materials company focused on low-emission innovation. Fluency in French and English is required; Spanish is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Regional technology lead for the Americas
- Strategic and collaborative leader
- Bridge between operations and technology teams
- Define and shape the strategic direction for AI, automation, data, and digital technologies
- Deep understanding of Responsible AI, automation, digital transformation, and associated value levers
- Design, develop, test, and implement AI-enabled document management and information governance solutions
- Develop, configure, integrate, or coordinate solutions using approved enterprise technologies
- Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows, authentication methods, connectors, and interoperability between platforms
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
- Permanent role based in Montreal, QC
