Job Summary
Equisoft seeks a Senior Technical Support Specialist with a diploma in IT support and at least 5 years of experience in a hybrid work environment. The candidate will manage complex technical issues, mentor junior staff, and conduct incident management per ITIL best practices. Proficiency in French and English is required, with Spanish as a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in DEP or AEC in IT Technical Support or similar field
- Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience in technical support
- Advanced understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Proficiency in Active Directory and Group Policy management
- Proven experience in workload prioritization & technical troubleshooting
- Ability to handle confidential information and use good judgement
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise applications and software deployment
- Knowledge of IT security principles and practices
- Excellent training and coaching skills
- Knowledge of: Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Spanish is an asset
