Job Summary
Route and sequence customer orders for delivery and pick-up to maximize asset efficiency and meet changing business needs. Integrate new customers, vendors, and third-party business into established routes while analyzing cost efficiency and implementing improvements. Maintain software databases for inbound and outbound operations and coordinate with warehouse management to balance picking volume and address transportation issues. Support driver coaching, training, and evaluations, ensuring compliance with federal requirements and maintaining a safe driving environment. Communicate with sales, supply chain, and other KeHE groups to assure optimum service levels. Requires a CDL-A license, three years of transportation experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Minimum of three (3) years previous transportation / logistics experience
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office platforms
- Fundamental knowledge of transportation and routing
