Job Summary
Specialist, Trade Control responsible for receiving and processing structured settlement instructions across asset classes, monitoring the settlement lifecycle, and resolving escalated exceptions and queries to optimize the number of transactions that settle within deadlines. Requires practical general payments/settlements experience (3-4 years), intermediate financial markets knowledge, and familiarity with JSE and Strate rules within a banking environment. Role emphasizes settlement processes, settlement systems, exception handling, query resolution, and continuous improvement in a back-office, financial markets setting. Office location in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa; in-person work arrangement.
