Specialist Toezicht & Handhaving Water

Conduct planned and unplanned field inspections to ensure compliance with regulations regarding waterways, groundwater, and dikes, verifying that restoration measures are followed. Manage complex enforcement cases while advising management on policy and annual execution programs. Coach colleagues, contribute to process improvements, and maintain contact with partners such as municipalities and Rijkswaterstaat. Work 50% of the time in the West-Brabant field area for inspections, with the remaining time on-site for coordination, supported by a laptop, phone, and home working budget. This role sits within the Environment team at Waterschap Brabantse Delta, focusing on water safety and sustainable water management.
