Job Summary
Specialist, Tax - UK & Europe role supporting the UK and Europe Tax Manager with tax advisory, compliance, reporting and policy support for local businesses. Focus areas include tax governance, transfer pricing compliance (master/local files and country-by-country reporting), tax audits/disputes, and providing day-to-day tax guidance to business partners. Requires professional accounting qualification (chartered accountant or equivalent) with substantial post-qualification experience, strong cross-border/ international tax knowledge, transfer pricing, VAT and employment tax exposure, and ability to partner with executives and other groups to embed robust tax risk management and governance across the region.
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent accounting or legal degree
- Significant post-qualification experience
- Strong working experience of tax advisory, tax compliance and tax accounting
- Experience with international tax principles, transfer pricing, tax residence
- VAT and employment tax experience advantageous
- Ability to work independently and prioritize and deliver own projects
- Good accounting practices
