Job Summary
Specialist, Talent Acquisition role focused on supporting recruitment for American Airlines’ inflight team. Responsibilities include conducting virtual and in-person group interviews (Teams-based and in-person), managing interview check-in and ATS updates, guiding candidates through the interview process, evaluating applicants against established criteria, maintaining interview records and scorecards, creating and delivering interview training for new interviewers, and ensuring adherence to company guidelines and legal hiring standards. The role requires handling high-volume interviews, collaborating with evaluators, acting as a brand ambassador, preparing interview spaces, troubleshooting technical issues during interviews, and traveling up to 25% as needed. Location is Fort Worth, TX, with in-office/in-person interview activities at the DFW HQ.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in recruitment, interviewing, or evaluator position
- Understanding of how to serve as a liaison with other departments
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
- High performance orientation and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to manage high-volume recruitment with professionalism and efficiency
- Commitment to upholding ethical and legal hiring practices
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Experience with large enterprise ATS systems (preferred)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work with diverse groups of candidates
- Ability to conduct and evaluate group interviews
