Job Summary
Senior-level Systems Engineer responsible for SATCOM VSAT product line ownership, system-level design and development, BOM documentation, and sustainment of existing terminals. Responsibilities include system integration per customer/program requirements, development of interconnect diagrams and cable assemblies, direct manufacturing support and root-cause analysis, customer support of technical issues on fielded systems, and program/product management support. Collaborates with outside vendors and cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, electrical, test engineering) to achieve product line objectives; leads development of new total VSAT system solutions, coordinating technical schedules, cost constraints, and program requirements. Requires willingness to travel domestically and internationally to meet with customers for current systems and future development opportunities. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience (or Graduate Degree with ≥2 years; or 8 years without a degree). Salary range disclosed for NY state: $80,500 - $149,500; additional benefits listed.
