Job Summary
Specialist, Systems Engineering role focused on algorithm development for geolocation processing within a defense context. Responsible for contributing to complex projects, interfacing with customers and internal teams (Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Flight Line Test, Product Development, Project Engineering), and supporting the development and adherence to schedules and budgets. Requires working with SIGINT/ELINT collections systems, documenting testing status and anomalies, and utilizing tools such as Jira, MATLAB, DOORS, and Confluence. Travel up to 10% (more if needed). Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required. Preferred skills include prior military SIGINT/ELINT experience, Python scripting, Cameo, and certifications like MBSE, Security+, CASP+/SecurityX, or CISSP.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant systems engineer experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior systems engineer experience
- Demonstrated experience with calibration & DF/direction finding techniques
- Demonstrated experience with Digital Signal Processing
- Active CompTIA Security+ or ability to obtain within 6 months
