Job Summary
Analyze, code, configure, test, debug, document, and deploy software applications while adhering to secure engineering practices and DevSecOps standards. Manage medium to large project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within an agile environment to provide high-quality technology solutions. Apply secure systems engineering throughout the delivery lifecycle to protect data and mitigate vulnerabilities. This role supports a Fortune 100 financial services organization focused on delivering extraordinary care to customers. Candidates will work remotely within the United States, with preference for on-site availability in Columbus, OH, and may have on-call responsibilities after normal hours.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree
- Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree
- Four or more years of analysis and technology experience
- Proficiency in one or more programming language such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Proven ability to tackle complex business and development problems
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
- Must be able to work from Nationwide's Columbus, OH office, with the option for a hybrid work arrangement
- Must be able to perform on-call responsibility after normal working hours and/or on weekends
