Job Summary
Default Servicing Specialist position supports the Loan Resolution Department, prepares and sends trial and loan modification agreements and closing documents for short sales, modifications and post-closings. Assembles documents for recording, notarizing, and imaging; verifies modification documents against calculations and ensures accuracy in the system of record. Processes loan modifications, HUD Partial Claims, and updates loan statuses for pipeline and clients; handles payment applications, fee waivers, and related tasks. Performs quality control on modification documents, collaborates with internal departments throughout the closing process, and reviews title reports for clear readiness. This is not a work from home opportunity, and work is based in Bangalore, India.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate's degree (A. A.) preferred
- Up to two years' related experience and/or training required
