Specialist Rotating Equipment Engineer – Offshore Water Injection Project

Job Summary
Lead design, engineering, and technical management of rotating equipment for ADNOC offshore projects, overseeing datasheets, specifications, and vendor drawings for compressors, turbines, pumps, and generators. Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes (API, ISO, ASME) while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams through design reviews and HAZID/HAZOP studies. Manage procurement, FAT, commissioning, and start-up activities, resolving technical deviations and mentoring junior engineers. Relocate from Abu Dhabi to Spain office, then return to UAE. Requires 15+ years in oil & gas EPC with ADNOC or major Middle East project experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 15-18 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Refinery, or Offshore EPC projects
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Lead Rotating Engineer role
- Proven experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, and Brownfield projects
- Experience with offshore platforms, gas compression stations, processing facilities, and offshore production complexes
- Strong expertise in rotating equipment design, selection, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of: API 610 (Centrifugal Pumps)
- Knowledge of: API 617 (Compressors)
- Knowledge of: API 618 (Reciprocating Compressors)
- Knowledge of: API 612 (Steam Turbines)
- Knowledge of: API 616 (Gas Turbines)
- Knowledge of: API 614 (Lubrication Systems)
- Knowledge of: API 670 (Machinery Protection Systems)
- Experience with ADNOC Engineering Standards and Specifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills

Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree is an added advantage
- Professional Engineering certification is preferred
- Extensive experience working on ADNOC Offshore, ADNOC Gas, Saudi Aramco, QatarEnergy, or other major Middle East energy projects
- Recent ADNOC Offshore project experience
- Experience on large offshore EPC projects exceeding USD 100 million
- Proven track record in gas compression, power generation, water injection, and hydrocarbon processing facilities
- Hands-on involvement in commissioning, performance testing, and troubleshooting of critical rotating equipment
- Strong experience managing multidisciplinary engineering interfaces and vendor packages in offshore environments
