Job Summary
Partner with leaders and teams to build confidence and capability in how risk is understood, managed, and improved. Turn complex risk data into meaningful insights, identifying emerging risks, trends, and opportunities that influence decision-making. Apply professional judgement to assess and triage risk events, identify systemic themes, and drive practical improvements across the organisation. Strengthen data integrity and reporting quality while leading initiatives that simplify processes and enhance the overall risk management experience. This permanent full-time role is based in multiple locations across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience working in risk, assurance, governance, compliance or a related field
- sound understanding of risk and control frameworks
- Strong reporting and data capabilities, including analysis, visualisation and maintaining high-quality information to support decision making
- A strategic and curious mindset, with the ability to identify themes, ask insightful questions and connect the dots across information sources
- Strong judgement and problem-solving skills, with confidence navigating complex risk matters and influencing better outcomes
- Excellent relationship-building skills and a track record of providing practical, trusted advice to stakeholders
- Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, law or a related discipline
- Professional risk, assurance or insurance qualifications
