Facilitate patient flow from entry to destination while obtaining accurate financial and demographic records to ensure maximum reimbursement. Schedule appointments, interview patients for medical information, explain department policies and charges, and validate entries into appropriate systems. Answer incoming calls and direct patients and visitors appropriately. Requires ability to interpret insurance information; knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm with occasional weekend availability.
